Head of Digital Marketing Part time (3 days per week) Onsite

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead the marketing efforts working alongside the leadership team 3 days a week onsite. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven professional with a proven track record in B2B marketing.

 

Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for devising and executing a strategy to leverage integrated digital marketing activities to drive growth, generate leads and elevate our brand in the competitive business finance landscape. Whilst this is a generalist role, there is a particular emphasis on the areas of SEO/SEM, marketing database management, email marketing, social media, display advertising campaigns, and inbound marketing in service of our scaling and internationalisation plans.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies, aligned with the company’s overall goals, to establish a strong market presence, generate leads, and increase brand awareness for our financial products aimed at businesses.

SEO/SEM and Digital Advertising: Drive and optimise search engine marketing efforts to improve organic traffic and manage paid advertising campaigns across various digital platforms, ensuring maximum ROI for our products.

 

Email Marketing and Database Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and analysis of targeted email marketing campaigns, leveraging HubSpot and our database to nurture leads and retain existing business clients effectively.

 

Social Media Management: Develop and implement a compelling social media strategy to engage the target audience of businesses, expand the company’s social media footprint, and foster meaningful customer relationships.

 

Inbound Marketing: Lead inbound marketing initiatives, including content marketing, to attract businesses as prospects and convert them into qualified leads through valuable and relevant content.

 

Website Analytics: Utilise website analytics tools to measure and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven insights to optimise marketing efforts continually and improve user experience on website.

 

Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and collateral, maintaining brand integrity and positioning the company as a trusted financial partner for businesses.

 

Sales and Events: Working closely with the sales team to maximise performance of outbound efforts through events or other outbound activities.

 

Product and Technology: Collaborating with the product and technology teams to ensure a considered and consistent customer journey from first touch and throughout the customer’s experience with InvoiceFair.

 

Team Leadership: Lead a small but impactful high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative marketing culture.

 

Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources to the most impactful initiatives to promote our finance products and ensuring optimal utilisation of funds. Ability to demonstrate marketing’s attribution to revenue is a must.

 

Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities in the financial sector for businesses, using this knowledge to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the FinTech market.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the FinTech or Financial Services industry. However, we prioritise experience related to B2B marketing of products with extended sales cycles, over specific industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution, with a focus on demand and lead generation, harnessing SEO/SEM, email marketing and social media, delivering measurable results.
  • Strong expertise in SEO and SEM strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link-building, and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilising marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems (HubSpot experience preferred) for targeted marketing initiatives for targeting businesses.
  • In-depth understanding of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and interpret marketing campaign performance and user behaviour.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and tailor marketing messages.
  • Creative thinking and a strategic mindset to develop innovative marketing approaches that resonate with business clients.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements related to promotion of financial products and services, ensuring marketing activities adhere to relevant regulations.
  • Up to date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices, with a focus on the financial services sector.

Inside Sales Representative

The Role
  • Inside sales representative
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align outbound campaigns with overall company customer acquisition strategy
Outbound Calling:
  • Execute outbound cold calling activities to convey our value proposition and be the subject matter expert on all solutions offered.
  • Ensure call quality, following established scripts and sales processes to complete discovery and qualification activities
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance outbound calling effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads to conversion
  • Provide insights and feedback to the marketing team from customer conversations
  • Setup meetings for presentation of funding proposals once qualified
Sales Performance Management:
  • Achieve agreed activity standards relating to campaigns, calls, meetings booked and converted.
  • Collaborate with the conversion/customer success team to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Generate reports on campaign performance, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance overall outbound strategy.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads through various channels, including website and phone
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring alignment with the company’s target customer profile.
Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product offering
  • Articulate product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential customers.
  • Engage with leads in a consultative manner, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our products to prospects aimed at converting
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competition and market dynamics.
Pipeline Management:
  • Input and update lead information, interactions, and outcomes in Hubspot
  • Manage and prioritize leads to ensure timely and effective follow-up.
